The first factor to be considered is the Massing. The massing of this house is perfect example to describe how masses effect the over all elevation. The designer styled this elevation on the lines of modern elements. He/she brought the elevation into visual balance by creating multiple bands in brown on the face of cantilevered roof over the terraces and balcony. Further more, Louvers are designed that does not only go well with bands, but also act as a screen to create partial or semi private space.

The harmony among the multiple textures on the façade not only high lights the spaces, but also beautifully ties the entire elevation. This elevation is an outstanding example for how texture variations can look splendid without giving the expression of overwhelming mass.
