This is new luxury front room design. Variations of mocha and beige tones are used to create a pleasant but sumptuous interior space that is ideal for serving guests in this lavish neoclassical drawing room. Between the white molding borders on the walls, there is a vintage flowery wallpaper with a black and beige pattern. Against this backdrop, tastefully selected eclectic mirrors and paintings are hung, and wall lamps in a classical style are fixed. The geometric pattern on the ceiling totally modernizes the space with a transitional-style chandelier suspended in the middle. To counteract the striking ceiling centerpiece, the ceiling’s edges have simple down lights. The flooring is a warm grey tone with a subtle concrete feel that complements the room’s overall brown décor. Although the furniture and rugs utilized here are in a classical design, they are not too ornamented. In order to brighten the room, which primarily uses beige notes, a hint of mauve or pink is included in the sofa fabric, cushions, and carpet. The cushions occasionally feature extra detail, such as a contemporary black and white design that gives the space more personality and dimension. The presence of a sizable window and the amount of sunlight it lets in counteract the wallpaper’s darkness. The sheers as well used for the window are thin and clear enough to let sunlight through. This space is a terrific example of how strong grandeur can be achieved in a subtly modern language without producing an overly conventional room.
