Honeycombing in concrete is repaired with Sika Rep by breaking out the weak, stony concrete, brushing on a wet bonding coat and packing the mortar in layers of 5–30 mm. Mixed with water only, it bonds firmly to properly prepared concrete, builds up to 30 mm per layer on vertical and overhead surfaces, and cures with low shrinkage to about 40 MPa, so it suits both cosmetic patching and structural repair of beams, columns, slabs and edges.
